Off the boat in Mexico

Cozumel was beautiful. We had a hard time deciding what to do with our limited time on unmoving ground. We decided to skip the excursions and go out on our own. Deanna has been to Cozumel several times and she had a pretty good idea on our options.

We all seemed to what the beach and alcohol. There was some I interest in snorkeling but that could be done anywhere. We ended up skipping the option where deanna had been before and went with the recomendation from “hot tub Jennifer” Mr Sanchos. It was a great choice. It was an all inclusive with private beach access. Our cab driver told us we would get a $10 discount if he walked us in. He kept saying he could get us in for $55 and none of us said a thing when we saw the entrance sign with a bold heading “all included for $55” so no discount but he got something from them.

We got settled in our beach chairs and were handed our first drink within minutes and they kept coming every so often he came buy with a fresh tray.

The water was beautiful but cold. We got in but didn’t get our hair wet. The water was crystal blue and clear. You could see your feet even in shoulder deep water.

We didn’t take advantage of anything but the beach chairs and drinks. We had some chips and guacamole but didn’t eat much from the buffet. They had a couple of pools and water slides and those water trampoline that appealed to the kids and a few drunk guys in their 20s. I can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cozumel.

We had a great day. We missed the rain that hit several of the beaches. Mr Sanchos was the place to be.
